World Habitat Day: Aderogba commends UN, calls for healthier environment

MONDAY- 4th October, 2021: The Deputy National President of the Food, Beverages and Tobacco Senior Staff Association,(FOBTOB), Comrade Adebayo Aderogba, has lauded in the United Nations (UN) for declaring every 4th October as World Habitat Day.

In his message to CEOAFRIC pn the 4th of October 2021, the Ibadan born unionist  called for a healthier environment in the state and in the country at large.

Aderogba urged the good ci of the state to use the celebration to sensitize one another on the collective responsibility of maintaining a healthy environment.

He stated that it will be in the best interest of the people of Oyo state and government to have human and animal friendly environment.

Aderogba further urged the governments of Oyo and other states in Nigeria, to revitalize environmental protection agencies and the general public on policies that regulate carbon dioxide emissions, waste management in buildings, transports, industries and the entire environments.
