She stated this at the annual High School Valedictory ceremony of Mind Builders High School, Lagos held on the 7th of October to celebrate its 2021 graduating class on their successful completion of their secondary academic pursuit stage.

The ceremony which was Chaired by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotosho, who was ably represented by Director of Public Affairs of the Ministry of Information, Mr. Kunle Awosika, had other notable personalities like Venerable Taiwo Adebayo (Guest Minister), and Mr&Mrs Ayim who were the 2020/2021 parent of the year in attendance.

The ceremony also had in attendance, Barrister Damilola Awoyomi, an alumnus of the school, who graduated from Babcock University, and was recently called to the Nigerian Bar after bagging a first-class degree at the Nigerian Law School.

Barrister Awoyomi also led the graduands in taking their valedictory oaths.
Mrs. Adekogbe in her keynote speech at the event with theme, "Unstoppable: Strive for greatness", encouraged the graduands to be proud of their foundation in Mind Builders, as the school has instilled them with great values and premium educational standards which would help them in their tertiary education as evident from four of the school's alumni bagging first class degrees from the different tertiary institutions.
Speaking further on some of the achievements of the institution, she stated that the school had earlier this year awarded scholarships worth N9m to seven new students to cover their secondary school education tuition. This, she added was to encourage educational excellence and reward hard work, after a student of the school, Master Henry Esemitodge, beat 589 other students to emerge the winner of The Ultimate Mathematics Ambassador 2021.
She went further to advise these graduands to take charge of their future and emulate the achievements of great personalities in history like Job in the bible, Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, Barrack Obama, and our very own president, Muhammadu Buhari who stopped at nothing to achieve their dreams.
Buttressing the need to believe in one's self and being unstoppable to achieve a set goal, the Keynote Speaker lauded the present administration of Lagos State. She explained that the Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration had been unstoppable since its election into power.
According to her, mind blowing projects such as the proposed 38-kilometre 4th Mainland Bridge, the reconstruction of Massey Children's Hospital to the biggest in Africa, the construction of the biggest rice mill in Africa, Imota Rice Mill and the construction of Infectious Disease Research Centre and Permanent Isolation Centre In Yaba are some of the legacy projects the unstoppable desire of the present administration has put in place to ensure a greater Lagos.
She implored the graduands to leave their comfort zones and take charge of their future by having a genuine desire to succeed, while finding purpose and the right company to succeed in. She advised them to strive for greatness by staying focused, being intentional as well as disciplined among other things.
She said, "Remember, you and you alone, with faith in your dreams, consistent renewal in such dreams, and absolute faith in your creator, will ensure that your dreams of a better and greater future become a reality." "You must remain resolute; change your mindset, read inspirational materials that will inspire you for greatness. Walk with the right people who share the same dreams of greatness"
She added that the present condition of things shouldn't deter their desire for greatness, saying. “Do not be dampened by the negative state of things in the country. See the cup as being half filled and not half empty. Strive to continue to fill the cup to the brim." "Remember, no pain, no gain, The race to greatness is not in how much efforts you put in, but in the actual greatness in diverse forms attained."
She concluded by imploring parents and guardians of the graduands to be responsible adults who supports their children and wards by allowing them manifest their God-giving abilities. According to her, "parents should be hopeful, inspirational, passionate about their children's education, and support and uplift their children."
The Chairman of Mind Builders Education Trust, Mr. Bosun Falore also encouraged the graduands to be of good standing and fly the flag of the school high wherever they find themselves in future.
