MONDAY- 6th December, 2021: The Association of Nigeria University Professional Administrators has presented an award of distinction and recognition to the Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Prof Edward Olanipekun.
The award was given to Olanipekun in recognition of his positive efforts to the association.
The award presentation held at ANUPA’S annual national conference at the Public Service Institute in Abuja from 23rd to 27th November 2021.
The immediate past chairman of ANUPA, Barr.Titus Igwe, while describing the Professor, said he has always been a friend of the association.
“ANUPA is an association that strives to associate itself with excellence, and distinction. It is for this reason that we have selected and awarded a number of Vice Chancellors in the past for their relationship with ANUPA and in terms of encouraging our members.
“These individuals have also encouraged excellent development and competence within their Universities. We have always taken it as a point of duty to recognize and encourage further development with ANUPA.
“It is with this in mind that we have selected the very respected Prof. Olanipekun.”
Barr. Igwe further dress the VC with the ANUPA emblem and urged him to continue the good works he has always been known for.
In response, the VC said he was delighted and overjoyed about receiving the award.
The conference ended with the annual general meeting and election where new set of leaders were elected to stir the cause of ANUPA to the next level.
