Gov. Matawalle approves New appointments, reshuffles Agencies

The Zamfara State Executive Governor, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has approved two Political appointments.

This was disclosed in a press statement signed and issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe in Gusau, the State Capital.

According to the statement, Hon. Salisu Musa Tsafe was appointed as Part-Time chairman, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Gusau, while Alhaji Abubakar Nagoggo was appointed Permanent Commissioner, Hajj Commission.

Balarabe said Minor changes were done in some Boards and Agencies as Alhaji Aliyu Alhazzai Shinkafi was removed from Anti-Thuggery and appointed to Zamfara Road Transport Authority (ZAROTA).

The statement also noted that retired Captain Rabi’u Garba Yandoto was transferred from ZAROTA to the Censorship Board as Permanent Member.

“Accordingly, activities of the Anti-Thuggery Committee would be supervised by the Hon. Special Adviser on Security, Alhaji Abubakar Dauran’’.

The statement further noted that all appointments and changes are to take effect immediately.
