Atiku, Wike teams storm Court over Legality of PDP Presidential Primary

The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and the camp of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike will begin Legal suit on the Legality of the Primary Election that elected Atiku as the Presidential Candidate of the party at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.
The suit was filed by Chief Micheal Newgent  Ekamon, a Chieftain of the Party, pleading the court to invalidate the victory of Atiku and declare Wike the valid Presidential Candidate of the Party.
It was reported that the suit will be presided over by Justice Ahmed Ramat Mohammed and that some Senior Advocates of Nigeria whose identities, are yet to be known are representing Wike, while Ayo Kamaldeen Ajibade, (SAN), is leading the Legal team of Atiku.
The suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/782/2022 has Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) as respondents.
