CPAN set to mark historic World Pharmacists’ Day, unveil new logo

Clinical Pharmacists Association of Nigeria, CPAN, has completed plans of celebrating this year’s World Pharmacists’ Day in a historic manner, as the organization, which is a body for pharmacists who are not only concerned with prescription, taking orders and dispensing drugs, but to also interact with patients and physicians to ensure the optimization of prescription, is set to unveil her new logo.
The event will involve a public lecture titled, “Pharmacists United in Action for a Healthier World: Nigeria Clinical Pharmacy Specialty Groups in Focus.”
The keynote speaker is distinguished Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola (FAAS), Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University and first Pharmacist Specialist/Consultant of any Nigerian Tertiary Institution’s Teaching Hospital.
Other speakers include: Prof. (Mrs) M.N. Femi-Oyewo, Provost, College of Pharmacy, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Prof. Wilson Erhun, Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Administartion, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife and many more, while Prof. Cyril Usifo, President, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) is the special guest of honour .
