EEDC declares complete blackout in South-East

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), has announced its system collapse in the early hours of Monday.
This was disclosed by the EEDC Head, Corporate Communication, Emeka Ezeh in a statement.
Ezeh explained that the system collapse has resulted in the loss of supply currently experienced across the network.
He said; “We wishes to inform our esteemed customers of a system collapse which occurred at 10:51am on Monday 26th of September 2022”,
“Due to this develop­ment, all our interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide service to our customers in Abia, Anam­bra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States.’’
“We are on standby await­ing detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osog­bo.’’
