Prof Usifoh set to preside over first PSN National conference as President

The President, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Prof. Cyril Odianose Usifoh has expressed his delight and readiness to preside over the national conference of the PSN as the society’s president for the first time.
Recall that CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that the conference, which is the PSN’s 95th Annual National Conference (ANC), tagged “Tin City 2022”, with the theme, “Medicine Security in an Unstable Economy”, will start on October 31 and end on November 5, 2022, at Chrispan Suites and Events Centre, Rayfield in Jos, Plateau state.
In a chat with CEOAFRICA, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the former Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Benin, explained that he is ready to perform his constitutional function of presiding over national conference, with thousands of colleagues in attendance.
According to him, “It is a rare honour to chair a conference, having thousands of colleagues in attendance, as the president. I don't take such for granted.”
Speaking further, he explained that the ANC is an event that every pharmacist in the country look forward to yearly and further explained that this year’s edition is not going to be just what it used to be.
He reiterated that the conference will be full of thought-provoking and highly educative lectures, which will span through different fields of Pharmacy and foster networking opportunity, by allowing pharmacists to get to meet peers and front-liners in their chosen career and other things that interests them.
The conference is just 26 days and some hours away, from now.
