The Enugu State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress,(APC), has been occupied by the Labour Party.
It was reported the APC in the State has been battling with series of crisis, which became worse after the party’s congress last year, following the emergence of Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah, as the State Chairman.
A delegation of the party’s stakeholders in the State, were at the APC National Secretariat few weeks ago where they demanded the constitution of a caretaker committee.
Agballa dismissed the stakeholders, including the Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama and a former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani.
Since Agballa emergence as Chairman, he has been operating from the South-East Zonal office of the party.
Meanwhile, the owner of the building housing the APC’s State Secretariat, located at No 126 Park Avenue, GRA Enugu, dragged the party to Court over rent issues.
The same building has now been unveiled by Labour Party as its State Secretariat
