The Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has said that Thursday’s friendly against Japan will further test the team preparedness for the world cup.
The former African champions will take on the Nadeshiko at the Noevir Stadium,  in Japan, on Thursday.
This will be a fourth meeting between both teams with the Nadeshiko having the upper hand.
The Super Falcons have won once, while the Nadeshiko have recorded two wins.
Waldrum during a Press conference on Wednesday said; “We play these kinds of games against the best in the world, because we know that’s what it’s going to be like at the World Cup.’’
“We just got back from the US, playing the USA and now we’ve come here to Japan, to play against one of the world’s best as well”.
Both teams will use the friendly to prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand
