Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has boasted about how his administration as the former Anambra Governor created a 60-40 gender balance in appointive and elective positions.

The former Anambra Governor disclosed this on Thursday in a tweet via his official Twitter page, stating that one of his objectives, if elected as the next president of Nigeria, is to aim for aggressive gender mainstreaming action plan.

He wrote, “As governor of Anambra State, my administration achieved close to a 60-40 gender balance in appointive and elective positions.
