The President, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Prof Cyril O. Usifoh has called on Muslims in Nigeria to be true ambassadors of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as the world marks the birth of the revered legend.
In his goodwill message to Muslims in the country, the award-winning scholar expressed his delight in the lifestyle of the prophet, who has been described by many as truthful, pious, devoted, God-fearing, hardworking and compassionate.
Congratulating Muslims, he stated that the deeds and lifestyle of the prophet need to be reflected on and his footstep followed.
“I wish to join the rest of the world to congratulate my Muslim brothers, on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This day reminds every one of us the life and time of a great prophet, whose good deeds has not been matched by those of any other. His commitment to God, through his pious, devoted, truthful, compassionate and hardworking lifestyle, speaks volume till date. I call on my Muslim brothers across the nation to be true ambassadors of this great prophet,” he said.
