War: Russia fires missiles at Ukrainian cities

The Ukrainian authorities have reported that Russia fired missiles at several cities of the Country in the early hours of Monday.
According to the authorities, explosions were heard in the capital Kyiv, the North-Eastern city of Kharkiv and the South-Eastern city of Zaporizhzhya.
The authorities have urged the citizens to seek safety in shelters.
There were reports of power cuts.
Recall that CEPAFRICA has reported that Russia had declared that it is targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure in particular.
Ukraine had said Moscow’s intention is to plunge people into darkness, cold and fear, thus driving them to flee to the European Union.
The head of the Ukraine’s presidential office, Andriy Yermak in a statement via Telegram said; “We will persevere. This disgrace will cost whole generations of Russians dearly.’’
