PSN organizes world class 95th annual conference

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has held her 95th annual national conference in a historic manner, as her custom has always been, at the prestigious Crispan Suites and Events Centre, Opposite Airforce Base, Rayfield, Jos, Plateau state.
The week long event, which started on the 31st October, being Monday, ended on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Many pharmaceutical stakeholders across the globe were in attendance, as Governor Simon Bako Lalong, together with the Plateau state chapter of the PSN, treated guests to a memorable occasion in the home of peace and tourism.
The President, African Pharmaceutical Forum and Vice President, International Pharmaceutical Federation, Dr Prosper Hiag, who was at the event, expressed his delight for being invited in such event by the PSN President, Prof. Cyril Odianose Usifo.
According to Dr Hiag, Nigerian pharmacists have been very supportive and contributed immensely to his emerging the vice president of the global union of pharmacists.
In his welcome address, the president of the PSN, Prof. Usifo, expressed his optimism that the signing of the Pharmacy Act will bring about the needed change in the profession.
He thanked the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, for the kind gesture, while adding that the speakers at the event were carefully selected to x-ray several aspects of the theme, “Medicine Security in an Unstable Economy”.
It was an event of “who is who” across the country, several goodwill messages poured in as well as different group discussions at the various technical group levels.
