Amid the protracted internal crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has invited the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, to the commissioning of one of the projects executed by his administration.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the Obi/Datti presidential campaign, Dr Yunusa Tanko.
Recall that CEOAFRICA had reported that Wike had on different occasions invited members of the opposition especially from the All Progressives Congress (APC), to commission projects in his State. An act the PDP had condemned.
According to the invite, the event is slated for 17th November, 2022 and the project to be commissioned is identified as Nkpolu-Oroworukwu Flyover Bridge project in Rivers State.
Tanko on his verified Twitter page wrote; “We are inching closer to reclaiming Nigeria for the Nigerian People……….. Join us Rivers State People!!!. We keep moving Obidently & Yusfuly. Destination Aso villa.”
