The Edo State Police Command has arrested two female students of Adesuwa Secondary School, Benin, for allegedly assaulting a teacher.
This was disclosed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, in a statement issued on Friday, in Benin City.

“He advised parents and guardians of those students to submit their children and wards who were involved in the agitation,” he added.
Nwabuzor noted that the CP had directed the Divisional Police Officer, Aduwawa Division, to transfer the case file to the State Criminal Investigation Department ()SCID, Benin, on the conclusion of the preliminary investigation for further Investigation.
