Mohamed El-Beltagi, Muslim Brotherhood Leader
According to an information gathered by CEOAFRICA.com from a local tabloid in Egypt, security forces –in- charge of Egyptian affairs have arrested a senior Muslim Brotherhood leader accused for inciting violence after the Mohamed Morsy was ousted from office last month.
This follows series of arrest carried out during many clashes that followed the ousted of the first democratically elected president of the country since last month and most brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party leaders arrested were accused of inciting violence.
Hundreds of people died earlier this month when the Muslim Brotherhood supporters clashed with security forces as the latter forcefully cleared the pro-Morsy’s camps situated in strategic areas. El-Beltagi’s 17-year-old daughter, Asmaa, died in that clash.
