Suspected political thugs accompanied by the state assistant secretary of the people's democratic party in Akwa Ibom state  Mrs. Useneno Tom alledgly  snatched ballot boxes and voting materials at Ikot Oku mfang and other polling unit in Otoro ward one, Abak LGA  and chased away the polling officials who took cover for their safty.
One of the security agents attached to the unit said the attackers came with a gun to cart away voting materials as the officials were trying to perfom the voting exercise. 

However, she and the hoodlums also launch series of attacks at various polling unit in the ward.
our source said, “I am one of the security officials who were at the unit. As the officials were performing the voting , the boys came with the state officer of the PDP,  well harms weapons and  stormed the polling unit they made away with voting materials.
