After days of political tension and anxiety, INEC decleared Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the March 18 governorship election in Enugu State.

Mbah polled 160895 to defeat his opponent Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party who polled 157552

The election result was announced by returning officer, Professor Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe said on Wednesday.
