Chapel of the RESURRECTION, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, was filled to the brim on Saturday, 19th August, 2023 in an atmosphere of joy and excitement as the family of Prof. and Prof. (Mrs) ODUNOLA gave out their eldest daughter, Modupe in marriage at a colourful event.

The reception which took place at the Ibadan Civic Centre, was filled to capacity, and the guests were entertained with high life music, lots of food and drinks of different kinds.

The high-class wedding witnessed who is who from the Academia, Industries, Royal Fathers, representatives from Oyo and Lagos State Government, Clergymen and others.

In a chat with CEOAFRICA, the groom disclosed that what attracted him to his wife was her exceptional characters.

Olapeju said “Modupe is a very wonderful person, Spirit-filled, very humble, very pretty. She’s the prettiest woman I have met”.

Prof. (Mrs) Odunola, the bride’s mother, in an interview with CEOAFRICA thanked God for adding another wonderful son to her and her family as she advised the couple to always remember how they started. She said “they started like friends; they started like brother and sister. So, the advice is they should make God their number one, everything about their home should involve God. Also, they should remain friends for life".

In the same step, Mrs Ojulape Caroline Aje, the groom’s aunt gratefully thanked God for the union. She described the groom as honest, hardworking and cultured person, who she can always vouch for. While imploring the couple to put God first in all their endeavours.

Mrs Aje also urged the new couple to love, tolerate and forgive each other which she said is the secret of her 40 -years adventure in marriage.
