Host nation, Ivory Coast have knocked out the defending champions Senegal to reach the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations.
The round of 16 tie on Monday, January 30,  finished in a 1 - 1 draw but it was Ivory Coast who were victorious in the penalty shootout.
Ivory Coast made it to the round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).  They will face Cape Verde in the quarterfinals.
