Photo News: VIS Director, Engr. Opalola pulls out of service

The Oyo State Vehicle Inspection Services, VIS, today marked the official pulling-out and send-forth ceremony of its Director, Engr. James Olugbemiga Opalola.

While speaking with CEOAFRICA reporters, Mr. Opalola in his farewell message urged all civil servants to abide by the rule of the game in order to avoid all kinds of problem and appealed to Gov. Seyi Makinde of the state and all members of his department to keep the banner of love flying.

The Deputy Director, VIS, while speaking at the event said the outgoing director joined the Oyo state public service 28 years ago and had served meritoriously and left indelible marks in the start. He added that he was able to raise the banner higher in the VIS.

National Chairman and Director  of Road Traffickers of the Federation, Sir Engr. Bonru Pepe in a goodwill message read by Engr. Adebayo however congratulated the outgoing VIS boss saying that both the members and executive committee of the National Conference of Directors and Chief Road Traffic Officers of the federation wish him a happy retirement adding that he will be remembered for his worthwhile achievements in  Oyo State as he served as an inspiration to them for he is a mentor and dependable friend whose presence will be greatly missed.

The occasion was graced by the VIS Permanent Secretary, Architect Adebowale K. Balogun, Director of Admin and supplies, Mrs. Olaleye, Director VIS Ogun state, Engr.  Adeleye A. represented by Eng. Babalola, National PRO, Engr Mike Bamidele, Incoming VIS Director, Mr. Adeyanju amongst others.
