As the Igwe Ezechuamagha of Ogidi Kingdom, HRM Igwe (Pharm.) Alexander Uzodinma Onyido, gave assurance of his physical attendance at the 97th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), the pharma body will be hosting the Igwe in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

The conference will hold in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, from Monday 4th November to Saturday 9th November 2024.

This was made known during the courtesy visit of the President of PSN, Pharm Prof. Cyril Odianose Usifoh to the Igwe’s palace in preparation for the honorific conference, where the Igwe affirmed that he will physically attend the event.

While appreciating Igwe Onyido for his support to PSN, Prof Usifoh acknowledged the prayers and support of the Royal Father of Pharmacy since his election into office three years ago, informing the monarch of his handing over to another leader as his tenure ends during the outstanding conference.

Deputy President of PSN South, Pharm. (Dr) Egbuna Udeorah, while giving the vote of thanks appreciated the king for his immense support at training upcoming pharmacists at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, Anambra state, and Nigeria as a whole.

Similarly, the Chairman Planning Committee for the 97th PSN Conference, Pharm (Dr.) Monica Hemben Eimunjeze, also extolled the kindness of the Royal Father for accepting the invitation to attend the Conference.

Other members of the PSN present at the courtesy visit to Igwe of Ogidi Kingdom are, the National Secretary of PSN, Pharm. Olanrewaju Gafar Madehin, leaders and executive members of the Anambra state PSN.
