His Majesty Global Schools (HMGS) proudly opened the Akufo Annex with its End of Session and Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant stride in its educational journey as it celebrates one year since the establishment of its new site.

The event, held at the newly acquired land in Aba Epo Akefo, Ido Local Government, Ibadan, underscores the expansion of HMGS, which now includes both a crèche and a primary school—a testament to the school’s commitment to providing quality education.

The ceremony, which took place on Friday, August 1, 2025, was graced by numerous distinguished guests, including Dr. Babatunde Johnson Ojo, the Founder and Proprietor of HMGS; Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Ojo, the Proprietress; Mrs. Adeleke, Chairlady of the ceremony; Mr. Olabamiji Habeeb, Chairman of the ceremony; Pastor Matthew Owolabi, the spiritual father of the day; Mr. Iyiola; along with parents, guardians, invited guests, teachers, and students.

In her welcome address, the Proprietress, Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Ojo expressed heartfelt sentiments, stating, "The purpose of this gathering is to celebrate our children—those that are graduating and those that are promoting from one class to a higher class. We believe this is the beginning of greatness in their lives. I pray God will protect and keep them. To the parents, we also congratulate you because the Lord has helped you take care of these children, providing for their needs and putting them in a good school. You won't regret bringing them to His Majesty Global Schools."

Following her address, Dr. Babatunde Ojo, the proprietor took the stage, emphasizing the significance of the occasion and the journey of HMGS. "This land is witnessing a new thing," he remarked. "The school started a few years back, but through the help of the MD/CEO of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, we have been able to go global. He has always been there to publicize us, and it makes me happy to see our little plans grow into something significant.

To the parents, I welcome you all and express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support. Our PTA Executive Committee, God will bless you for your constant involvement. HMGS is not just about education; we are global and open to all, with no religious biases. We want the best for our students, and we ensure that there are no barriers to achieving that."

Dr. Ojo also showed appreciation to the community and individuals who have supported their mission, mentioning, "I thank the woman who gave us the building we are currently using, which has helped us bring in more students. I am grateful once again to CEOAFRICA, and I pray that God will reward and bless them as their company continues to expand."

The ceremony was filled with vibrant presentations from the students, showcasing their talents through rhymes, choreography, cultural dance, news reading, and speeches. The atmosphere was electric as the audience celebrated the achievements of the graduates. Awards and gifts were distributed to encourage students to excel further, highlighting the school's commitment to fostering talent and success.

In an exclusive interview with CEOAFRICA, Dr. Babatunde Ojo reflected on the impact of HMGS on the community. He stated, "So far, God has helped us to bring out some children who were once forgotten and believed they couldn't achieve anything. Many of our students come from less privileged backgrounds, but we have managed to support them, and some are already in university.

The reason we continue to thrive is largely due to publicity. God used the director of CEOAFRICA to raise awareness about our school, and now we have students from higher social strata. I am particularly happy that two of our students received scholarships, as it brings me joy to see young people succeeding."

Looking ahead, Dr. Ojo shared plans for the future of HMGS: "Very soon, we will start work on this site. Currently, we are still using a rented apartment. Our Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre is complete, and the community has requested a secondary school. I appeal to the public to assist us in making this dream a reality."

He concluded his remarks to the graduates with a motivational message: "Nothing comes easy; there is always a price to pay. It is my heartfelt desire that all of you will rise to meet the challenges and stand shoulder to shoulder with your peers internationally. The essential thing is to work hard and trust God."

As the ceremony came to a close, it reinforced HMGS's dedication to providing quality education and nurturing the potential of its students. With an eye toward the future, His Majesty Global Schools stands poised to continue its journey of growth and excellence in education, ensuring that every child receives the opportunity to thrive.
