Mr. Michael Unumahengie, a 46-year Old man was arraigned at the Ikeja Magistrate court yesterday for allegedly raping and defiling three minors.

The man, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the prosecutor told the court that on September 6, at 9pm, in Alausa, Ikeja, Unumahengie forcefully had canal knowledge of three girls of 10, 9, and 6 years respectively.

The offence, according to the prosecutor, is punishable under Section 137 of the criminal law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.

However, when the suit was read to his hearing, the defendant pleaded not guilty. But the magistrate, Mrs. E. Daudu refused him bail. He was ordered to be remanded at the Kirikiri prison and adjourned the case till October 17 for hearing.
