The oyo state police command has apprehended one Alex Akinyemi (m) 25 a suspects who was involved in ritual killing of one Seun Adaramoye a student of Ladoke Akintola University Ogbomoso.

The Assistant commissioner of police ACP Dasuki Galadanchi while briefing newsmen today at the state CID, Iyaganku, Ibadan said that  Alex Akinyemi a security man working in JASTOK guest house was said to have dumped the dead body of seun Adaramoye in front of the guest house at midnight on the 20th march, 2013.

the ASP said that the corpse was identified as Seun Adaramoye after series of investigation by the state police command through a camera placed at the entrance of the JASTOK guest house where Alex Akinyemi was seen dumping the corpse.

the police then arrested Alex Akinyemi who confessed that he saw one Charles Aregbesola dumping the dead body in the premises of the guest house on alleging him Charles promised him 500,0000 naira to keep silent over the issue.

he added that efforts are been made to arrest charles Aregbesola while investigation is on going.

Meanwhile the police command also paraded Wajud (m) 50years for conspiracy, stealing and converstion of goods valued at one million one hundred and sixty thousand, two hundred and eighty naira only.

the ASP said that one Lawal Mohammed of Akobo, Ibadan came along with two detectives from Apapa police divistional headquaters and reported at the state CID, Iyaganku on investigation activities that on the 20th June 2013, his worker one Peter Eziekiel (m) chartered a truck driven by David Tony (m) to convey 4,554 cartoons of Juliet soap from Apapa Lagos to Benue state but David diverted the goods to Agbeni,Ibadan where he sold the goods.

he said a team of detectives, swang into action as they arrested one suspect Wajud Akande who tod the police about a warehouse in Molete which equally led to the arrest of several person and recovery of over 500 cartoon of Juliet soaps and some bags of chemical belonging to Zayo Sigma was also diverted to molete on their way to chevron in delta state.

Currently the warehouse is underlock, under 24hours guard by the state policemen to secure the remaining goods in the place and the principal suspect is at large while the state command is making effort to his arrest.
