Following match-fixing allegation resulting from scandalous score lines involving four Nigerian Amateur club sides, CEOAFRICA.com confirmed that the Nigeria Football Federation has banned players and officials of the clubs for life.

It would be recalled that Plateau United Feeders were 79-0 victors over Akurba FC while Police Machine FC demolished Bubayaro FC 67-0. The two games were Nigerian promotion play-off to Nationwide League Division.

Also, the four clubs involved, Plateau United Feeders, Akurba FC, Police Machine FC and Bubayaro FC, have been banned from the game for 10 years.

Furthermore, stiffer penalty has been recommended by the disciplinary panel for match officials involved in the two matches.

According to source, the NFF found that one Feeders player scored 14 goals, while Police Machine scored four goals within a minute.

In a statement released from the NFF Secretariat, the recommendation of the disciplinary panel set up to investigate the matter was accepted by the body with assurance that the decision would be communicated to the clubs, the state FAs, the continents soccer body CAF and the world soccer ruling body FIFA.

"We will publish all the names of players and officials with their photographs and details,” the statement concludes.
