
The Enugu State Police Command has arrested three suspected rituals and female fake doctor.The nabbed suspects Ajah Ogbozor Festus suspected to be a ritualist, precious Face Ajah a female fake doctor as well as Ajah Solomon.
They were nabbed on 23/12/13 by the security operatives attached to Area Command headquarters of oji River at Umuonopu village. This followed complaint against them on the ground of suspected fake Gynaecologist, money ritual as well as obtaining money under false pretence.
Recovered from the suspects were a rap of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, syringes, some drugs suspected to be gynaecological drugs, drug written postinor, one piriton expectant linctus drugs, red and white cloths, one rainbow incense amongst others.
Investigations have commenced in full scale as suspects were helping the operatives in their investigations. Also, operatives of Oji River Division of the Nigeria Police Force have nabbed a notorious suspected kidnapper/murderer who has been on the wanted list of the operatives over his nefarious activities ranging from kidnapping among other crimes.
The suspect had been on the run after his alleged involvement over a kidnap case of one Veronica Ogugor on 26/6/13 and the alleged murder of one Fredrick Onwuka of Nkpagu village.
The suspect who gave his name as one Chukwuka Uzoma of Nkpagu village allegedly committed crime and ran to Lagos where he spent some months and unknown to him that he was being monitored came back and was trailed by the eagle eyed operatives of the command and was apprehended.
He is now helping the police in their investigations. In another development,operatives of the state criminal and investigation department of the Enugu State Police Command have commenced a full scale
investigations into the alleged incident of murder on 27/12/13 at Umuodu Umuogwu village in Isi-Oroto isi-uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State in which one Johnson Uche Abonyi was allegedly stabbed to death. It was gathered that the deceased had allegedly met his untimely death when one Christopher Agada accompanied by Godwin Agada, Francis Agada and Joseph Okoro suspected to be serving military personnel had led an assault against the deceased for a yet to be identified reason/reasons which led to his death.

As a result, angry villagers had revolted and allegedly burnt a car belonging to one of the suspects and was about to expand their action when police operatives intervened quickly to save the situation and escalation of violence.
Four of the suspects have been apprehended and they were assisting the operatives in their investigations while the corpse of the deceased had been deposited at Ikem General Hospital for Autopsy. Items recovered from the suspects include a matchet, two expended cartridges and one small knife.
