NIGERIA (Kano)-Ahead of President Goodluck Jonathan’s Visit to Kano State, all hands have been put on deck to ensure a hitch-free stay for the number one citizen of the country.

It was gathered that Nigerian troops have taken over the streets in the commercial city while combact ready anti-riot policemen and men of the Department of State Security Services were also seen in their large numbers in the state.

The visit of Mr. President to the ancient city coincides with the annual Maulud celebration by the Quadriyya sect that involves large procession of faithful.
