The first female pharmacist to become vice chancellor in Nigeria, who is currently the vice chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof (Mrs) Chinedum Peace Babalola is to receive three awards in recognition of her achievements.
These awards are in recognition of professor Chinedum prolific genius of pharmaceutical research, her contribution to humanity and as an ardent crusader of fight against drug abuse.
One of the awards will be presented to her at the 2018 Global Grand Reunion of the federal Government College Enugu on the 22nd of August 2018, while the other two awards will be presented to the amiable vice chancellor at the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) Abuja on the 24th of August 3, 2018 and 23rd of September respectively.

The awards will further distinguish the trained pharmacist and a woman of many firsts as the pride of Africa who also is a member of many international, continental and national organizations in addition to being a laureate woman of several pharmaceutical institutions.
A statement from the organizers also extolled the VC as someone who has travelled and had attended several training across the globe.
