Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Ibadan Diocese holds her 2018 Girls Guild Camp

The church of Nigeria, Anglican diocese held her 2018 girl’s guild camp at the United Missionary Comprehensive college, Oke-Ado, Ibadan which started on 8th August 2018 to end  11th August, 2018 with the theme “TAKE HEED LESS YOU FALL”

The camping which was a way of bringing the girls together was full of activities as the children were taken through Health talk: DRUG- Its usage and Abuse by prof. (Mrs.) Chinedun Peace Babalola (Chrisland University VC), Career Talk: Creative Art by Dr. (Mrs.) Ruth Adio Moses among several others.

Career Talk:

The girls were taught how to turn an ordinary bathroom slippers to designers slippers with ease, how to design a book without a machine, how to make necklace, ear rings, head band, bangles and other creative things.

One of the instructors, Dr. (Mrs) Ruth Adio Moses, who taught the girls how to make something beautiful with their hands, encouraged the girls to take the training very serious and always practice what they learnt at home, as this will make them to be perfect in it.

While speaking with CEOAfrica, Dr. (Mrs.) Adio Moses from Institute of peace and strategic studies in University of Ibadan stated that she decided to voluntarily come to teach the girls on how to use their hands to make something beautiful instead of always being on the internet with the internet risk.

When asked on how she will help if any of the girls decided to go deep into what she has taught them, she stated that she first find out what the person want to do and she will connect the person with bigger companies that are into it.
