President Muhammadu Buhari was given a Rock Star treatment by legislators as he presented the 2019 Budget.

The leadership of the National Assembly did not make attempts to respond, as some legislators took over the floor with clapping for the president.

The President had sat back after his presentation, watching pensively as the lawmakers clapped on end, shouting Sai Baba and practically turning the rather formal occasion into a rowdy scene.

Eventually, Buhari got up, exchanged handshakes with the Senate President Bukola Saraki; and House Speaker Yakubu Dogara, and he left the chambers still accorded the Rock Star treatment by legislators who kept shouting Sai Baba.
