Others were the suspended state secretary of the party, Major Raphael Towobola (retd), Alhaji Razaq Oyetunji and former deputy chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji  Bashiru Salami.

The PDP chairman stated that the party took the decision after it had carefully considered the activities of the expelled members in recent times.

According to the statement, the youths leader of the party, Mr. Benson Adegbola, moved the motion for the expulsion of the six members and it was seconded by the party’s treasurer, Mr. Adesoye Oyetunde.

The statement added that the state Women Leader of the party, Mrs Mary Anjoorin, moved the motion that positions being occupied by the expelled members at various federal boards should be allocated to faithful party members.

The party alleged that the expelled members were working with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
