FCAHPT Staff, Students set to compete for Provosts Cup 2022

The staff and students of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan, are set to compete for Provosts Cup 2022. The competition, which is billed to hold from April 11th to 27th at the College Bora campus was made known by the College Provost, Dr. Adekoya Owosibo.

Speaking with CEOFRICA, the College Provost said all is set to see that this year is very special with this competition which will include all functional academic departments, school of Part-Time studies and Staff team.

The teams to compete in Football are for both genders – male and female; volleyball for male only, athletics, scrabbles for male and female, table tennis for male and female, chess, ayo olopon and expanded management throw game.

CEOAFRICA obtained that the Provosts Cup is an annual sports competition at Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan.

In a brief chat with the head of the college’s sport unit, Mr Saheed Shittu stated the essence of sport and the planned competition: “The sports unit enable the staff and students to function effectively and efficiently in their various professions as technologist in Animal Health and Production.

”It introduces the concept of physical fitness and maintenance of healthy body, which also helps to develop the practice of various games and exercise.” He said.

The Provost Cup competition is promised to be a great one as sport lovers are expected to grace the occasion and enjoy the fun that comes with entertainment sport.
