BREAKING: PDP extends deadline for sale of nomination forms, changes screening dates

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended the closing dates for the purchase and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2023 general elections.

National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said the extension was to enable the Party make up for the Easter public holiday as announced by the Federal Government.

Under the adjusted Timetable, the last day for the purchase of all Forms has been extended till April 19 while the last day for the submission of already completed Forms has also been extended till April 20.

The screening of aspirants for various positions has also been adjusted.

State House of Assembly aspirants will be screened on 22 April while National Assembly aspirants will be screened April 25.

Governorship aspirants will face the screening panels on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, while Presidential aspirants will have their turn on Wednesday, April 27, 2022

Screening Appeals are scheduled as follows: State House of Assembly: Monday, April 25, National Assembly: Wednesday April 27,

Governorship Friday April 29 and Presidential Saturday 30 April.

All other dates as earlier published remain unchanged, the party said.

It added that all duly completed State Assembly Forms are to be submitted at the various States Secretariat of the Party.
