Chrisland University Shines Again

The reputable global university, Chrisland University will be the centre of attraction and gathering for its 7th Year Matriculation Ceremony with the theme "ENGAGING WISDOM FOR INTELLECTUAL RADIANCE" will holds on Tuesday 31st May, 2022 at the University Campus in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The ceremony which is billed to induct the new intakes would attract people from all works of life to commemorate the event.

When CEOAFRICA visited the school, there was obvious evidence of celebration in the air as the campus looks colourful and set for the big event. In an interview with the registrar of the University, Mr Samuel Omotoso remarked that the school is well set for the annual event of matriculating the new students into the prestigious university.

He said: “As you can see, the campus is ready for the celebrations and everyone is happy about it. We are set to hit the ground running, to mould the neophytes to become global brand and worthy ambassadors of our great university.”

As part of the matriculation ceremony, the prestigious university would also the commissioning the Effigy of the School of Nursing which was duly accredited by NUC last year for the nursing programme. Recall that CEOAFRICA reported on 22nd June, 2021 that Chrisland University has gotten full NUC Verification and approval to run nursing programmes with the establishment of College of Basic Medical Sciences.

In another development, Chrisland University is made proud by their student, Nurse Kolawole Eniola who against all odd breaks first in the just concluded FYNI NURSES WEEK VIDEO CHALLENGE. The Fyni Nurses Week Video Challenge is a creative initiative programme designed to focus on the viability of the young nurses and the profession. The video application game which took place at 9th – 16th May, 2022 task the participants to create a short video in uniform or scrub and should be a compelling and short videos of less than 120 second. The game was keenly contested among many students across nursing schools in Nigeria has Nurse Kolawole Eniola of Chrisland University came first.

Commenting on this feat, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Chinedu Babalola, while commending Kolawole Eniola for her prowess and taking the school tall and proud, said it is in the DNA of Chrisland University to raise amazing and great students for the global challenge. In her words, she said: “Our reputable international standard would always stand us out as a world class university. We are not going to rest on our oars until we take everyone above the sky limit. Our world class University is poised to develop every potential and set our students for global reputation. Soon, it will become a university of the first because many Kolawole Eniolas are on the making in every department.”
