The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, may not join other presidential candidates in the 2023 election in the signing of the peace pact as he is reportedly not in  the country.
The National Peace Committee (NPC) is chaired by retired General Abdulsalami Abubakar, a former Head of State.
The team members include respected cleric Bishop Matthew Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese.
The former Lagos state governor who is currently in the United Kingdom, will be represented by the APC vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.
Recall that the Senator and former Borno governor likewise stood in for Tinubu at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Conference in Lagos.
The APC recently announced the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) but the composition has generated resentment.
The list released by the PCC Secretary, James Faleke includes a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Chimaroke Nnamani, while some names, like ex-Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi, appeared twice.
