PDP in Oyo state holds stakeholders meeting

Members of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State held a stakeholders meeting at the party secretariat yesterday.

The meeting was aimed at strategizing for the party’s victory come 2015 and to dispel the rumour that the People’s Democratic Party is dead in the state.

The People’s Democratic Party flag bearer, Sen. Teslim Folarin affirmed the vibrancy of the party.

“We have heard all kind of rumour making the rounds about the collapse of the People’s Democratic Party, we have stars players in our midst, we want to challenge other parties to call such meeting and let us see their own star players,  gentlemen of the press can go back and report that we are in good shape” he said

Sen. Teslim expressed sympathy for aggrieved members of the People’s Democratic Party that decamped from the party. He stated that the People’s Democratic Party remains firm he likened the cross carpeting of some members like the football transfer window where new players come into a club and others leave.

The People’s Democratic Party flag bearer disclosed that the other aggrieved members of the party would be present at the next meeting of the party.

Present at the meeting are Lekan Balogun, Raji Rasak, Saka Balogun, Moruuf Atilola, Gboyesi Ige, Robert Koleoso, Chief Ogunjimi, Sen Ayoola Agboola, Sen Ayo Adeseun, Rt Hon Asimiyu Alarapa, Hon Kehinde Salau, Hon Akeem Taiwo, Sunday Ogunlade amongst others
