University of Ibadan VC race: Eight shortlisted for final interview

The ongoing process of selecting the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan (UI) will continue on Thursday, October 14, following the screening exercise conducted on Wednesday.
The Joint Senate-Council Selection Board had on Wednesday reduced the number of candidates vying for the position to eight after screening the 15 applicants.
The eight successful candidates will participate in the final interview on Thursday, after which three candidates will be recommended to the Federal Government for approval. The government will choose one of the three.
Those who scaled through screening include the Acting VC Prof. Adebola Ekanola; Professors Yinka Aderinto, , Olusegun Ademowo, Kayode Adebowale, and Babatunde Salako.
