Chief Justice Of Nigeria to carry out first official duty today

Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, the newly inaugurated substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), will carry out his first official duty at the Supreme Court Complex, today (Friday).
Justice Ariwoola was sworn in as the substantive CJN on Wednesday, October 12, after President Muhammadu Buhari administered the oath of office to him.
The Supreme Court, Director of Information and Press, Dr Festus Akande, in a statement said the CJN’s first assignment in office is the inauguration of the Acting-President, Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory, Hon. Justice Stanley Adekunle Lawal.
Akande noted that Justice Lawal would be sworn in at the Main Courtroom of the Supreme Court by 11am.
